CivicTech Lab @the 2026 Computer-Human Interaction conference

The CivicTech Lab has two interventions to make at #CHI2026. This year, along with long-term collaborators and new ones, we focus on exploring one question: what roles can AI agents play in public deliberation?
Panel: "AI Agents and the Future of Deliberation: Designing Human–AI Collaboration for Democratic Dialogue." Weiyu Zhang, Simon Perrault, Anna De Liddo, Francesco Veri, PhD, Maurice Flechtner, Horacio Saggion, Kaiyao Zhuang will discuss various initiatives using AI in deliberation and organize a debate among the audiences.
